Good to get out - hard to run

I thought the snow-break yesterday would have given me plenty of recovery time from Saturday’s run - but not so. Took 20 minutes to get loose. Then at around 6k I had to take a break to take a phone call from the local Hospice (who have been incredibly supportive as I continue to care for Lena at home through a really difficult period). It was good to get a break but in just those few minutes my body had stiffened up - I felt like a plank trying to run. Linseed oil - that’s good for wood, isn’t it? That’s what I used to use on my cricket bat.
