That odd feeling of being in kilter

The thing is, everything else seems out of kilter. The weather's been weird for days - wet, warm, grey, sickly. And these days between Christmas and New Year have lost their shape. Yesterday should have been Saturday, but it was a sporting blank. And today, out on my run, it definitely didn't feel Sundayish at all.

But for me, everything's suddenly back to normal after all my routines went out of the window in the run-up to Christmas. There's time for running again, I'm feeling OK, all's well. But being in kilter somehow just feels wrong in days like these.
