South of England Cross Country Championships
Went with the early pace, first few kilometres at 3:48 per km, the first ½ of the main lap was flatter and consequently faster but the third quarter was hillier and therefore much tougher.
Hanging in for the last few kilometres and done at the end, I don't think that there was anything left in the tank!
301st in 55:42, my best ever finish at this level and 5th scorer, a weakened M&M finished 20th out of 45 complete teams.
Up in the morning for 10 miles or thereabouts...🏃💪🔴⚫
