Standard Chartered Great City Race 2023
Hmmm, where to start with regards to corporate races...
Negatives: A huge queue to get in, next to no space or time for a warm up, far too generous an entry standard for wave 1 meant 4km of weaving past considerably slower runners and ultimately some walkers.
Positives: 18:05 for 5km was not a bad return for the evening's efforts although I got burned at the finish by Mark Diprose - story of my life! 🤣🤣
