Arkwright's Summer 5k Series, Race 3, Saffron Walden

The plan was for five minutes of running followed by however much time I took to get to the next kilometre beep as a walk break. That only worked as far as the second k when I needed a longer walk break to get my wheeze under control. And of the third k was okay but I took a while to get going after the last walk break. I kept it going all the way to a decently brisk sprint finish but that last effort was vile. Glad to have finished.
