Yeovil Open Evening 200m, just 20 minutes after the 800m. I was still feeling sick, out of breath, and full of lactic acid. I very nearly didn't turn up to the start line, especially as they were calling us over while I was still walking to my bag to try and get a little sip of my drink. But at the last moment, I walked down and 'clocked it'. I was in lane 8 and after Richard kindly re-ting my shoelace I gave it my all. A bit tense and a slow start but 28.12 isn't too bad just 20 minutes after a hard 800m!
