SAL 5,000m, warm and humid.
Barry was aiming for sub 18:00 and I wanted to sit on his shoulder for as long as possible in the hope of going sub 18 as well.
We both fell off the pace by a second or two per lap in the second half and then it was just about getting to the end undamaged. Didn't push on the last lap to save my legs for Wednesday's 10,000m county championships.
