Went to perfection. Paced it perfectly, my watch sat at 7:04 average form mile 3 to 16, had a 20 second pe in mile 17 that took the average on my watch down to 7:06, brouhht it back to 7:05 after a mile and sat at that to the end. Very strong the whole way, pacing was the absolute key to a very succesful race.

5th overall and 1st V50 (not bad at 58!)

Thanks as aleays to Steven for his amazing support the whole time, met him with drinks and ges almost every 1.25 miles :-) Great course for supporters.

Pacing went perfectylu, was pacing to dip under 3:10 and went like a dream. Long course (26.7+) so had to be careful. EXTREMELY pleased :-) Never went outside my goal mile paces except for mile 17 where I stopped for a 20 second pee :-)
