Great North Run-I did it! My first half marathon. It was a great day and the atmosphere was brilliant. Unfortunately I ended up right at the back as I got stuck in a big toilet queue, so I had to do lots of dodging to get past people. The last 3 miles were really hard going especially the last mile but the support from the crowds kept me going and I even managed a sprint finish. Really pleased that I managed to run all the way. Would love to do it again in a couple of years and get under 2hrs 30mins.
