The plan had been to get the run in before it got too hot. 10:30 wasn't actually going to be early enough, but what the heck? Off I went. Slowly.
Covering a few new bits of footpath gave me an excuse to stop and take some pictures. Using an obvious route off the road at around 5km instead of the terribly overgrown path just beyond it meant that I had a short out-and-back section once I realised where I was.
It was all getting a bit hot by then, so I took the decision to cut the route short: I'd intended to go north of Chipley Abbey and hit Folly Road from the north, but instead cut straight back through Hundon Thicks Farm.
