Notes & Comments

Bedford running festival half marathon.

Really enjoyed that. Good route, largely tarmac or gravelly trail with some grassy trail as well. I expected it to be congested with the double loop and the out and back, but it was really well managed and the handful of people I lapped were easy to get round. Time is brilliant for sunny day at start of season for me, my 4th best time ever and best not at St Neots in November. I have my eye on that this year!

Somehow set my watch up not to lap either auto or manually, duh, so was using power a lot to keep an eye on how it was going. Focused on form the last mile and accelerated that way.
