Beautiful day, beautiful setting. The course was more hilly than I had thought. Coffeeboy and I set off at about 7:40 pace and then got separated at about 3 miles as he complained of a bit of tightness in calves. I felt pretty good and speeded up slightly - was passing peoiple most of the way - before flagging in the last half mile. I was aiming for 7:30 pace - so have to be pleased with this. Also improved my time from just 3 weeks ago by 2.5 minutes and the course was not faster. A good day.
