Notes & Comments

So, obviously a bit of a disaster but actually pretty proud of the effort. Three weeks training - really only 1 week of proper training. Struggled from 25-30 but pulled it back a bit after that.

Personal worst but happy. Was all about getting round...

Weight is such a crucial factor. As it slowing it down from the start. Was probably about 15 seconds a mile too quick from the off. And the "climb" to 20km was pretty long. Plenty of flat sections but the climb was deceptive and taxing. Definitely pushed a bit too hard then.

2 minutes used for toilet break (inc queuing) at 22.5km when I should have gone before the start. Did break momentum but wasn't crucial overall.
