Hanley parkrun # 56 (parkrun # 73)

There's no place like your home parkrun! First time back at Hanley since 11 Feb, when I was still really struggling with my heel and ran it in 31:54. After getting sub-30 at Cannock two weeks ago (29:32), I was hoping for similar today, but Hanley is hillier and I've done no hill training. Kept my watch on HR (which was playing up actually, until halfway when it suddenly recognised the effort I was putting in!). As I approached the finish I knew it would be tight, so I pushed harder - and was thrilled to get 29:27, faster than my Cannock time. Things are definitely improving!
