My third Sandy 10 (last two being 2013 & 2014) - so happy to be back, this race lived up to memories of it. It's hard to beat for feel-good course, marshalling... and so far in my experience, the weather! Perfect temperature, sunny and a bit of a cool breeze but not enough to be a real problem. Apart from a slight niggle behind my right knee (a new problem I first detected yesterday), everything else feels great including foot, ankle, achilles, front knee and (mostly) The Injury too. Worked hard in this and very fatigued after yesterday and the past month, but has all been worth it. Perhaps no running now until Wednesday - have earned two days off I think! My times at this event have been very similar across all three years: this year, slightly ahead of 2013 me and 90 seconds behind 2014 me. Given that 2013 turned out far better than the rest of 2014, I'm quite happy with that!
