Very windy conditions throughout. First section was downhill which was good, later a bit more undulating. My calves were pretty achy in the first half so I was quite glad I was wearing calf shields. My feet were aching quite a bit in the second half. Made up quite a few female places in the last third which I was pleased with. Can't say I enjoyed it though - found it very hard work. Fastest half since Stowmarket a couple of years ago (but only did another 2 since then!).
