Holyhead Breakwater Race 5 miles

That's the way to bow out of female senior. In my last race as FS I finished 2nd lady overall and 1st FS in today's Holyhead Breakwater 5 mile race. 10 seconds outside my PB but happy with the race overall. I tried to compete with Carla Green from NWRRC for the first 2k but had to concede that she is still a street ahead of me. Next female runner was 400m back by the time I hit halfway so my position was more or less safe and it was tempting to slow down a bit. Thanks to Kevin Clark for pacing me and preventing me from dropping off the pace too much with him doing the third race in 30 hours or something crazy like that. Well done!
