Had a pretty solid run. there were quite a lot doing it so I made sure I got to the steps in the first 30 or so but then took it easy for the climb knowing I'd have to run every step after Bradfield Gate Head. It was really wild on top and I wasn't managing to do the pace I expected, the wet slabs felt a bit precarious and in general down to Moscar didn't feel in good form although I was enjoying it. Once we hit the next climb up to stanage I found my feet and went past the first lady, lee rawson and a couple of others. From that point on I did nothing but overtake people. Had 3 gels and a few jelly babies which wasn't enough, the last little climb felt tough and I had to walk a bit of it which meant I didn't catch two people up in front which I felt I should have so I was a bit annoyed with myself for that. Still - happy with time but would have liked a top 10 place. Good race though.
