Set off too quickly but feel the mileage in the legs would forgive me. I was right. JUST!! Target was 3.14.59 how I totalled the miles to get to that number is irrelevant!

Ran mile one with Neil, who was doing the half. DOH! Very windy and then out if the wind hot but whatever race you do there will be weather so tis what tis. My 7.54 mile 26 is the hardest I have ever ran knowing how close I was to my target. I'd stopped a couple of times to stretch hamstring cramp. OW!! Knew I was hanging on towards the end but I am so so so proud of myself. The woman I love and the amazing Gloria were there to congratulate me and I actually had a complete melt down back at the car, legs were so painful, I was so utterly exhausted and I was in the arms of the most incredible woman. 😢😊😢😊
