Although this was the easier course of 53-12 xc, I still found it tough.
I'm not a lover of laps, but every time a lady runner got close, I tried my best to stay in front, so that's what I focused on.
When the finish was looming I felt tired but with a Witham lady about 200m ahead I gave everything I had to try and catch her. Finished a cats whisker behind her........gutted
But on the plus side Harwich ladies got 4th
