I enjoyed that run even if it was a bit slower than I'd wanted. I still came in 15 seconds ahead of schedule. Had to march up over the dunes again but navigation was easier than on the recce because there were helpful marshals out on the course. I was running on my own, nobody to chase and nobody in sight behind me. I managed to go for home about a kilometer early because I miscalculated again and got a landmark wrong on the route. I managed to cling on somehow, probably the thought of Jo waiting for me to hand over at the end.
