Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Notes & Comments

First ever five mile race and I'm very happy with my time. Was aiming to beat 35 minutes and I did it by quite a bit. I was a bit scunnered in the lead up to this race coz I thought that the weather was going to scupper my time targets. Thankfully it didn't. The first two miles were into the wind but thankfully it wasn't TOO strong at that point (still pretty strong though), with the next two and a half having the wind behind us. The last half mile was real grit your teeth stuff as we turned back into the wind and it had picked up big time. Still managed to cross the line with what I think is a pretty good time, and I achieved my aim of getting a bronze level standard this year!

Official race time = 34:17

My watch time = 34:12
