Wellington Monument Road Race

Alex Patton 27/193 - Fairly pleased with this and a good warm-up for the Stoke Stampede on Friday although I *definately* prefer off-road races. I got cought at the back of the pack at the start and ran the first bit too slow - I probably lost about 30secs here. Very steep climb out of the village and then it gradually levels off to the monument. Lots of lovely downhill after that but don't underestimate the slight incline over the last half a mile!
