Phil_N Followed the first 10 runners and ended up taking the wrong route to the first checkpoint. We ended up doing 12.75 miles in the end. Logged the time for 10 miles (total for 12.75 was 1hr 58).

Sonneur37 Did the locals hide the waymarkers then? I've done this event for the past 3 years and whilst there is usually a bit of uncertainty over short sections of course this year was a humdinger! I know, let's all wear blindfolds next time... The complete absence of waymarks after the racecourse meant that large sections of the field were last seen heading for Lincolnshire. Thank the gods for the gps on my blackberry that got me and a few other to Croxton Kerrial. Check the finish times on the results page - first home in 1.54 and there were a couple of whippets in the field!
