Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

smash A cold, rainy run, out to Pyrmont and back. The start went across the Sydney Harbour Bridge, which they'd closed just for us - what a buzz! Then the course went out to Iron Cove along the world's most boring dual carriageway - high screens on both sides to ensure no scenery! I struggled from about the 10k mark, but with an out and back course you may as well finish, cos it's a long walk back if you don't! I was dragged around the last 5k by a nice Aussie girl, without whom I could still be limping along! Overall a good result for me, got round as a result of determination rather thatn training - very pleased to get in under 2 and a half hours.
