Robinp Just a few weeks before The London Marathon so I might decide to use this race aspart of my cooling down period rather than going for a PB but would still be nice to do a sub 45min. Vindicator Set off to run this at Marathon Pace, then increase speed at 8K ready for almost flat out at 9K. Ended up going a bit faster for the first 8, then 8-9 were downhill so faster than I wanted with the last K a bit slower as by now yesterday's 16miles were starting to have an effect. Overall a good stretch out in suport of a local charity. A note on the organisation: Usually some fields are available for parking near the HQ, but due to bad weather could not be used. An alternative location, close by, but with a shuttle bus was organised at the last minute. Runners were also informed of this by phone/e-mail where possible.
