Blister I can't believe how f**king slow this was, arrrghh... I think it's obvious now that I can't ever get any quicker except maybe a few seconds, but to take 2 seconds off my previous PB I had to do about 100 miles more in training in the last 90 days than before! The race is a nice small event, 5 laps which makes it easy to break up and good competition considering how many do it. It was windy and fairly cold tonight plus my stomach was hurting after about 1k like usual which didn't help, but no excuse I just can't run fast. Splits: 3.30, 3.44, 3.47, 3.50, 3.47. UPDATE: Finished 10th out of 78, better than I thought and looking at the winner (16:14 but he did 15:49 a month earlier) the times were slower than normal.
