Marigold Was a bit apprehensive due to the all out time trial on Friday night but was going to go for another PB in the 5000. CJ made the very sensible suggestion of setting my 305 time alerts for every 75 seconds which would get me a 15:37 and a 5 second PB so that was the plan First move was from Chelmsford A string who took the lead and I followed. He went off a little faster than I was planning but was close enough for me to go with, 73 74 74 75 76 76 ( Leader now starting to slow and I'm wondering if its too early to make my move) 76 77 ( I'm going to have to do something now as the PB attempt will be in jeopardy otherwise. I also get a few shouts from CJ and another club mate that it was time to make my move) 72 (That will do it, scared him with a quick burst and gained around a 10m lead) 74 75 76 (Get a shout from club mate that a sub 15:30 may be on so but in some effort for the last 200) 34 15:33 PB by 9 seconds and 5 points for the club. My first win Bournemouth AC 14:41 15:33 15:40 15:33 83.16
