Alex Patton 8th/42 - that was a good time prediction! Really enjoyed this today, particularly as it was proper XC conditions with drizzle and more mud than is usual for this time of year (have had loads of rain in the last few days). Got a little bit isolated in the last quarter of the race but still 75 secs quicker than last year, despite the more testing conditions. New x-talons were really excellent.
