DANBERT This was a tough 5 mile mixed road and trail race over Whittaker and Rakewood. It started on a steep uphill road climb going up towards Lydgate Hamlet. It then went down the hill before turning right onto the trail. From there it was pretty much uphill for 2 miles before reaching the farm house at the side of the motorway bridge. From then it was downhill all the way for 2.5 miles going by the side of Hollingworth Lake and back to the finish.
