AlB very cold and hard under foot - worried about injuries so didnt want to push too hard, but enjoyed it - though it was shorter than last year and as usual I wish I'd gone a bit faster!

Rach E My least favourite race of the series. Dread it! Aim to do my best nonetheless. Getting under 20:30 would be nice. ***UPDATE*** Course was a nightmare with the ice and I was such a wuss down the hills and over the ice sheets. Should have worn trail shoes or flats. Definitely cost me first or second, but I'm very happy to finish in third place and win in yet another sprint finish :o)

Ultra Sparkly Bridget (USB) Shorter than last time I ran this (2.72 miles on my Garmin) and with ice rather than deep puddles. Pleased with my pace for this but p***ed off to have got a blister
