The Primal Hammer Conditions: 10:00am, Partly Cloudy, 45 Degrees, 61% Humidity Splits: 6:44, 6:46, 7:18, 6:57 Overall Place: 350 of 5093 (top 6.9%) Age/Gender Place: 70 of 472 (top 14.8%) Tough short race two weeks after the marathon. Felt like the endurance was there but I just didn't have the energy to push the effort. Hills were especially tough but caught a little rhythm by mile 3. I'm pretty sure a lack of quality warm-up played a large part in the struggle.
