Nailsea Festival 10k

Dochart The race HQ is at Nailsea & Backwell RC, a short jog from home. Changing, showers, secure baggage and a bar all available. Registration was speedy despite what looked like a reasonable turnout. The route starts from the rugby club and exits onto the road at a potential bottleneck, so I made a fast start to avoid delay. The race then runs two laps round the outskirts of Nailsea on lanes well trodden by me on training runs. There is one short hill section which is run twice. The route is well marshalled and there 3 or 4 water stations. It was a warm evening and this was my second 10k of the week, so perhaps I didn't do this justice. 109/215
