Boycie What a mental race!!! 550 athletes and 45 horses - can't believe I managed to beat 34 of the bleeders! It was so hot - I did not realises that a) horses can sweat and b) how rubbish they are at running up sides of mountains - I managed to overtake a couple running up one hill! This was by far the hardest race I have ever done - although only 20 ish miles, it was much harder than the marathon. Think I finished 37th overall. The first bloke home beat every horse and won £3 grand - not bad for two hours and twenty minutes work!!!!
