Marts actually only 4.81-4.84 miles. upand down sand dunes. pleassed with hard training run. got spiked by gorse bush on 1st lap of 4 so bit sore on uphills and deep sand. removed thorn at home and was a big one. about 7mm and have 50p piece sized swelling around the wound. Great thing about this race is loads of chip shops:) finished 19th of 62. 4 mins quicker than when last did this course 3 years ago
