Ally2 never raced above 3000m on track- something different and no pressure. Will try to get under 33 (25 laps requires concentration but should be worth 15-30 secs on road). absolutely slaughtered my Pb. 5k in 15:42, 2nd 5 in 16:04. felt real comfortable with first lap in 71, 1k in 3:07, 4 laps up in 4:57 so carried on, doing 3.2K in 10 minutes, 5k in 15:42 still feeling comfortable. felt fine at 7k (22:06) but through 8k in 25:21 I was starting to hurt. last 5laps were a real slog but kept gordon in my sights and the clock stopped at 31:46 about 10 secs behind gordon (he left me at 3k but the gap never really increased so I knew a sub 32 was on the cards and this kept my focus). 2nd in 31:46.6
