ErhuDave Although this is not a well known race (only started in 2006) but it is extremely well organised. And the crowds at Kuldiga were fantastic. The race consists of 4 laps around the town centre with fantastic scenery including the widest waterfall in Europe. The 2005 & 2006 New York City Marathon and 2005 Osaka Marathon female winner, Latvia marathon record holder Jeļena Prokopčuka participated this race in both 2006 and 2007. I was so lucky running accross the finishing line with her in 2007. The only difference is she immediately had a TV interview but I still had one more lap to run..........
