_andy Marvellous. Sunshine, cakes and beer, with a bit of mud and some hills too. A great evening out. Very steep, very hard work and very fast in places. The splits show quite a lot of time under six min/miles and also a fair bit under five min/miles, which isn't bad on trails and muddy grass. 39 seconds quicker than last year (all that effort...) but loved the race, especially the manic descent at the very end after all the roller-coaster ups and downs.

Merry Christmas and Happy NewG(rrr) Agree with _andy (and thanks for recommending this race) perfect example of a local, club organised race. Friendly, but well organised, cakes, juice and prizes at the end. For 2 quid, for fecks sake! Sunny evening made the beautiful route look quite spectacular. They have a good claim for one of the country's most scenic races! *33:45 watch time* :-)G *update - 33:32 official*
