Diogenes First race outing for my Fetch vest. Only 4 minutes quicker than last year but felt much faster. Good to meet other Fetchies before and after. I had forgotten how tough this is with hills, mud and muddy hills, not to mention the single track pathways and the dogs and ten year olds.

Eternal plodder It was good to meet fellow Fetchites for a few minutes before the start. Good race, well for me it was a muddy plod but still fun and Im not telling how long it took, suffice to say fellow fetchites were long gone before I got my medal :o)

McGoohan Did this in 31:49 last year Hmmm: got in-laws staying so not sure if I'll make this... ++UPDATE++ Well I did make it there on the way to another set of the in-laws! Met RGP, Eternal Plodder, Bertie and Diogenes there. I hope no-one bet on me for this because I did the drinking run. A pint of beer after 2.5 hard miles sits uneasily on the stomach. It was very hard to get down in the first place and I struggled to hold it down once I'd crossed the finish. So: same again next year! ;-)

Puffing Bertie Blimmy that was hard work......well the hills were hard!......the rest was brilliant fun and although the single track stuff was more muddy than Grim it was still great :-) Great little medal too......worth doing again for sure! Really great to meet up with you other Fetchies.....hope to see u all again soon ;-)
