Haddington 5 Mile Road Race

Lexo as expected totally scorching. Reallly hard going so very happy with PB considering the conditions although would have liked to have dipped under the 32 mins. Hill at mile 4 still tough going.. First East Lothian runner home so won a prize (hurray) ...always pays to run a race the day before the Marathon to thin out the competition:)

RichyC Hope for a decent run, would like to break 30mins in a 5m race having done it recently during Edinburgh 1/2m. UPDATE: I struggled badly today in the heat. Knew after 1m warm up that it was gonna be tough and a mile into the race I knew I didn't have much more to give. Shame as it's a nice course but I can't say I enjoyed it. That's 2races I've run in Haddington, both in hot conditions and both feeling crap, so I think I'll steer clear for a bit. Well done lexo on getting a pb, good run mate.
