Pericles Excellent event: surely this will become a hugely popular excursion for British runners in the future (there seemed to be relatively few there this year). 10,000 runners, but almost no congestion, great support, running beneath palm trees and a cloudless sky on flat, closed roads with the meditteranean lapping on one side - what more could you ask for? I was undertrained, which accounts for taking a few minutes longer than I would have liked (pace-perfect to 30k, but lost 5 minutes thereafter).

Trini Started training on the First programme. Three days a week much less milage. Track, Tempo and long. Should also do two days low impact cross training - swimming, cycling or rowing but will do this for the spring marathon. Will be interesting to see if I manage to get sub 3h30min.
