Falstone Falcon Fell Race

Grey Badger Fell race at Falstone show. Legs felt heavy on the first climb up to the forest through the long wet grass. A bit better coming down the forest track and made up a bit of ground, then a hard part through tree stumps then bracken but made a lot of ground up on guy in front. I passed him just going back onto the track again but he overtook me again in a few hundred yards so i just tucked in behind him. Followed him in nice section through wood then came out onto the rough ground again, overtook him just after crossing stream and going up steep click to the start of the run in and put a spurt on and eased open a gap of about 50mtrs and gradually opened up to the finish. Slower than last year but conditions a lot harder. Finished in 3rd place.
