Fastest_Dave First Fell race ever and what a delight, great views & such friendly people in the race. I raced well feeling very strong but not knowing the route made me slow and stay in third/forth place for the mid race. Then either lack of practice wrong shoes or who knows why I got a massive blister on my right heel (underneath) that stopped me in my tracks and lost me lots of time and a long hobble/run in. Fast finish as i did not need my heel for the last 200. Loved it and will be back, watch out i may practise!

Vindicator First ever Fell Race and an interesting experience. Feelings ranged from exhilaration running off the first hill, to despair climbing up the last one, legs screaming with lactic acid. Would I do it again? Perhaps - need some improved confidence and some more hill work! Considering I live closer to the fens than fells, it may be some time, but I will try it again.
