Beano Hope to beat my best, but it is a charity event, do not know how easily I will manage the traffic, not use to passing anybody! Thanks to all the volunteers, stewards & marshalls. Great run through a beautiful park, well organised, and good provisions, and great support and encouragement around the course. I feel great beat my PB by nearly 3 mins, I know its not exactly a world record but I don't think I could fell much better if it were! It was good to run for the Cancer charity, to see all the other runners, alot running for personal reasons, it was both humbling and inspiring. It feels great to be part of this 'running fellowship'. I feel privelaged in many ways, and I am happy I have found fun, fitness and frivolity within the running community, I only lament not having discovered y'all sooner. I was chuffed to get a PB, but also for those who bet on me, at first I felt pressure, but on the way round, it pushed me and gave me confidence, and even a sprint finish, to shave a few extra secs, but alos to earn my backers a few extra points. THANKS. Happy Days.

Fee PB!!!!! 7 mins and 57 secs off my Tunnel 10k time. Very steady running- no breaks except for 2 sips of water.first 5k in 33mins 23secs which is also a new pb! Fantastic atmosphere, quite a small race, less than 600 people,overcas, drizzly weather, ideal for running :)
