Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,

Birdypie Hoping to get round quicker than the 2.11 I did last year...but weather will be key. It was roasting last year and I wilted!

Deenzy Went out with Running Crazy to Benidorm. The race is very well organised and friendly. The half marathon is far more popular than the full marathon and has about 2500 entrys with a lot of Brits. It starts at 10 and the hotel Running Crazy use is about a 2 minute walk from the start, so preparations can be made in the comfort of the hotel which is a real bonus. Nice touch at the start with a noisy firework display. The course is quite nice with a good section of it along the sea front. A 1 mile fairly gentle hile at approx 10 miles is quite testing but at least you get to come straight back down it again. The race is chipped and you can get an instant print out of your results and splits straight after the finish which is a nice touch. Goody bag is not bad with a sort of mock crystal finishers ornament (a bit naff but a change from medals I suppose) plus a T shirt, a banana an orange, a Snickers and a bottle of water. As far as my race is concerned, I am very pleased with my time as I was anticipating about 1.55 and had not done much training in the 2 weeks leading up to it due to shoulder injury. Overall I would thoroughly recommend this race and the use of Running Crazy.
