Debstir Last minute entry as I was at my family's only 20 minutes away! Put down 26:45 on entry form as estimated time then thought 'why did I do that' expecting to take longer - so was chuffed to bits with my time. Tried to keep up with EyeSpy21 at the start (no chance!) so just settled in to a 'just-out-of-comfort-zone' pace. Will need to try that again!

EyeSpy21 Have never felt so nervous at the start of a race due to uncertainty with injuries. I was SO close to driving home again after parking. Then I spotted a clown and Easter bunny, but enough about Magoo and Debstir! Nice to see you both again :-p Course was quite windy with no km markers and few marshalls. Had no idea about my pace but I like the outcome. Quite enjoyable in the end.

shannon first 5k, will not eat as much breakfast next time. a bit windy too and considering i felt a bit one paced/heavy, i was quite pleased with the time. next race will be a tad longer!
