Salty Dog: not than i'm an expert but the black gap between the bones indicates that there is cartilage there so that's good. and doesn't look like there are fragment of bone anywhere else. -

Caterpillar: Well thank you SD! The inside edge of my kneecap hurts like hell when I touch it, but there is no significant swelling, and it's not stopping me running or doing anything else. Well, almost nothing else. -

Caterpillar: They did a lateral view. I sneaked this photo when they weren't looking. Not sure if it was permitted, but I didn't want to ask to snap the other x ray too. It looked OK to me. -
