First Ride in Leipzig around Störmthaler See
After servicing my bike yesterday, it was time to take it out today. The weather was almost perfect, sunshine, 21°C and a moderate wind. I made my way out of the city jungle of Leipzig. The first 5 km are always a bit of a struggle until I cross Prager Straße and then it's just straight down to the lake. It was so beautiful today, turquoise water, blue sky, a few altocumulus clouds up there, some birds out on the lake. I met a lot of cyclists - very popular route choice. I tried to hurry up to be back in time for the appointment at 5 pm. I made it back an hour earlier with my quickest ride around Störmthaler See ever. Happy with that, I've become a bit stronger compared to last year.
