Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

faulky This will be a competative run for me. I am taking this very serious as i am running to raise money for Cancer Research UK.

I set a target of one hour when i started training and then changed it to 48mins! This was a little unrealistic and feel that 55mins is my target for this one!

Should Av Run Quicker Big thanks for M62Steve for this.
Not sure on time as I haven't run a 10k in over 12 months, hope to get under 37mins but just don;t know due to no speed training at all and the people you have to run around most of the way.

Nephi Very crowded at the start and did not get a clear run until after 4km by which time I knew target was out the window so relaxed a bit. Should have kept a better watch on the pace as I could have still PB'ed with a bit more effort in the second half. Sorry for the lost bets.

Obigone This will be a struggle for me this year! Having done the last 3, with progressively better times, I have been injured all year(foot) and haven't trained at all! So I will be happy to get round in 50ish mins! **Update** Well considering I haven't done a bit of training 53mins is not really that bad I suppose!! This in fact is the first race I've done since last years GMR. I was on target for sub 50 at 5k but fell away in the second half! Got a couple of shouts from fellow Fetchies on the way round(much needed, thanks!whoever you were! Ugg?) and let on to Pato1967 before the start.
