My arse is here, now, Max. And I'm very touched that people would remember me and my little old leg.
My leg has been much, much better for the last fortnight (really, since I was X-Rayed again and was told it is still fractured!). I'm walking perfectly and there is virtually no pain. A couple of times I've tried to 'hop' etc, to put extra weight on it, but that doesn't feel good, though.
MRI is on Monday. Unfortunately I have to wait until Aug 11th to see the Consultant to get the results. I've also got a Rheumatology appointment tomorrow, about the muscle hernia which has also been troubling the same bloomin' leg!
I'm fairly confident that it's getting better now. The fact that it's not hurting and I'm walking normally is encouraging me. Hopefully I'm going to be back here VERY SOON.

Good, that is very good Jenny.
So you'll be dancing your heart out at Jack's birthday party this weekend then?

That's much better news Jen - hope that the MRI goes well and shows, well, nothing! It must be a huge relief to be out of pain, and walking normally is highly underated! Take care!

Really pleased to hear that you are getting fixed Jen. Hope it continues to improve.
How is everyone else on the injury bench? I'm finally off it and hope to stay that way, have also managed to cut my target deficit to 23 miles.

Pleased to hear your news too LC2, that's great Take it easy though to ensure you don't return and keep us all company (though, obviously, lovely to have your company )
I might be back in 2-3 weeks: the little flake I chipped off is so small (like a toenail clipping, nice) and too far away that it won't rejoin, so I don't need for the fracture on the metatarsal to knit as such, which is good news I guess
